Gray Creative Studio is a boutique graphic design & web design agency based in Ventura County, California. I specialize in working with women owned-and-operated businesses with everything from the beginning stages of launching their business to an established businesses with a variety of design needs and all things in between. Founded in 2014, I have worked with a range of clients including service-based businesses, e-commerce businesses, venture capital firm, talent management, wedding and event planners, photographers, and more.
At Gray Creative Studio, I work with companies to make sure they are able to covey the message of their brand in all visual mediums. I firmly believe that companies cannot maintain long term success without a clear, defined brand and it needs to be presented efficiently! One thing that truly sets me apart is a genuine skill for understanding the vision even when my clients are unable to vocalize specific details about it. For example, it is common practice to ask visual brand identity clients to create a Pinterest board with “anything and everything” that inspires them as it relates to the brand – this can include actual pieces of branding and colors but also, it often includes things that convey a vibe such as interior decor, artwork, fashion, and more. Inspiration can come from the unlikeliest of places.

Hi, I’m Taryn!
I’m the owner, creative director, and head of all things at Gray Creative Studio. I have over a decade of experience in the visual branding and graphic design world and over two decades of experience marketing and advertising. With a knack for understanding what my clients are looking for, I loves to work hand-in-hand with clients to define their brand identity, create visuals for their business, and build their websites. I work with clients who I want to champion and support while we’re working together and beyond!

– I was born and raised in California
– Santa Barbara, CA is one of my and my husband’s favorite places in the world.
While you’re here, I want to note that I am a passionate supporter of women’s rights, immigrant rights, LGBTQIA+ and gender issues. I believe that Black Lives Matter and support racial justice for the BIPOC community. I understand the difference between equity and equality. I support those with disabilities and mental illnesses.
